Loving; after being peppered with love by her parents Riley pays it forward to all those around her. She loves people endlessly and doesn’t enjoy ever being the reason to cause anyone around her pain. It’s one of the reasons she puts others before her, she fells that its her duty to make those around her happier. To fix their problems but in often times it causes her to forget her needs. It causes her to suppress the feelings she feels because she’s smiley Riley and it’s expected of her to be happy everyday. No one likes a rainy day and she really doesn’t want anyone to feel that way because of her.
Insecure; Riley has many insecurities. It may be easy for her to make friends but sometimes someone just absolutely hates her personality which causes her to devolve into bad habits. She suppresses her feelings once again, burying herself in homework, extra credit, volunteer work or in favours until she looks like she’s just about to pass out. Personally, she isn’t insecure about her looks but insecure in how she can’t seem to be talented in anything. To her it gets tiring failing so effortlessly even when she’s trying her hardest but it’s often the pressure of being the daughter of her mother. She can’t help that her mother was so perfect.
Intelligent; being protected from the world has caused her to be innocent and wide-eyed but open meet Farkle when she was six had changed her in multiple ways. She stills as innocent and wide-eyed as ever but it doesn’t change the fact that she was highly intelligent when the time came. She became incredibly book smart but not as her male counterpart. She founder herself highly successful in classes like transfiguration, potions and herbology. People often treat her like a child but they become surprised when she surprises them with the knowledge and maturity she has in her.
Dedicated; she really feels the need to finish anything she’s started. She’s extremely dedicated to anything she starts especially when she hopes for results in her favour. Despite the project she perseveres until the end and will likely take any results but was truly causes her happiness is when she sees that she’s helped a fellow peer or friend in something major or minimal. Nothing can truly ever stop her from something she’s started unless she believes that her job is done and the rest is on them.
Optimistic; she has a bubbly and happy persona which has derived her to have a rather optimistic view on the world and everyone in it. She see’s the goodness in people even those who are deemed the worst are those she truly pushes herself to understand and ultimately she learns that they are good people but they often build so many walls that people doesn’t try to unravel. Obviously having a optimistic view on things will cause her to have upsetting moment when something doesn’t live up to her expectation. That something is like divination; it lived nothing up to her divinations and a girl like would have loved to love that subject.
